Awwww - where's my little furball gone? Lex is starting to look properly dog shaped now rather than a round fluffy ball with a head stuck on top. Growing up too fast :(

Monday 11th February
Pups had a day apart today. Lex had a lovely day with nanny and grampy and Luna had some special mummy time and a trip into the studio with mummy to work. I think they were glad to see each another when they both got home though!

Puppy weigh-in day. Luna is at 6.4kg - up from 5.5kg at her vet check last Friday. Lex is at 3.6kg - up from 2.6kg at his vet check last Saturday.

Daddy took Luna out visiting family today while Lex stayed home for some mummy time. Luna was so gentle with little Kodi and they both really enjoyed some games of chase at Grampy Brian’s house.

Lex : 8 weeks old
I know my name, I know to go outside to poop and sometimes pee, I'm very good at sit and just getting the hang of lie down. I'm going through my bitey stage at the moment so mummy is teaching me to play without grabbing and snapping with my needle teeth.
I laugh when my belly is tickled and I love exploring and having morning cuddles with mummy.

Luna : 13 weeks old
I know my name, I know to go outside to poop and sometimes pee, I'm very good at sit, lie down and come. I'm also getting good at drop it, wait and having my lead put on.
I love playing chase, shaking a tug toy around and am learning to play gently with my little brother without bullying him. I'm also learning how to have quiet time on the sofa to rest so mummy & daddy don't have to put me in my bed to make me sleep when I need it.

Baby gate purchased after Luna worked out how to open the dining room door - and showed Lex how to do it too! Who'd have thought that a cardboard box could be so much fun.

Daddy being puppied when he came in from work.
Camo Dogs blending in with the kitchen floor.

Pups also had a lesson on how to walk on a lead today. Out to the deck, through the kitchen and hall and back again.
Sunday 3rd February
Proud mummy today. Pups are starting to learn to both be out at the same time and not be jumping all over each other like they have for the last few days. Allowing some safe, supervised tug play through the pen so that they can get used to one another and learn what the boundaries are with acceptable play.
Lex also went out onto the permitted area of the deck and had his first poop outside all by himself x
Saturday 2nd February
Microchip and vaccination day for Lex today. He was a little bit sore around the injection site today so no photos, but very proud of Luna being a good big sister and checking on him to make sure that he was OK today.

Lex and daddy are having some man time on the sofa tonight. Guarding the beer!

Luna had her second lot of vaccinations today and we stopped off for a playdate with her littermate Sky on the way home x
She absolutely loved every minute of it (and of course Lex got lots of cuddles too) but we had a verytired Luna when we got home.
